Sometimes, a good solution to give a room a makeover, without having to do work or spend a lot, can be on the ceiling. That's right! Luminaires and pendants have the ability to completely change the look of the space with style and, in some cases, without requiring large costs. The 33 environments at CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016 inspire how and where to use the various options available on the market, from the more sophisticated crystal lamps to the more funky strips with spots.
Crystals
The well-known crystal chandelier is like a little black dress for women, it never goes out of style. In the JOTA JOTA lounge , designed by architects Patricia Moschen and Carolina Mocelin, the attention turns to the Dubai crystal chandelier.
In the Stanza Della Donna environment, by architect Francine Faraco, it appears again, but in an unusual use, at the head of the bed.
In the Lovers Suite , architect Laura Gransotto used crystal in more than just a chandelier: they appear in the two pendants on the sides of the bed, Vienna model, in the sconces distributed on the wooden panels, also from the Vienna model, and in the Rose model chandelier.
In the Dining Room , the chandelier designed by architect Anna Maya, made entirely of twisted iron, highlights the ceiling preserved at the site.
At Galeria Lounge Avex , architect Rico Mendonça displays exclusive lamps made with laser cutting technology.
Inspirations
There are also wired options with cracked glass, which give an even more special touch, as can be seen at Café da Casa , designed by architects Caroline Porto and Isadora Maestri.
Hipsters
For those who like the coolest style, rulers with spots are an interesting option, in addition to allowing the light to be directed to a specific point, they give a modern look to the environment, as can be seen at the PUB Confraria do Chopp Honesto (CCH) , from architects and confreres Ricardo Fonseca, Mário Pinheiro, Beto Gebara, Luiz Fernando Zanoni, André Lima and businessman Wagner Barreiro. PUB also uses colorful hat-style pendants and two wires with a concrete base, all to match the laid-back style.
Ceiling art
In the Living Room , the Sky Garden lamp, by designer Marcel Wanders, enchants anyone who looks up. Created from the reinterpretation of the ceiling of the artist's former residence, where the plaster was designed and resembled a “garden in the sky”, the pendant also has drawings on the inside.
