Patrícia Hagobian designed the new
Kofu Sushi restaurant in Vila Nova Conceição, São Paulo. Seeking to integrate functionality with modern and relaxed design, the project presents elements that refer to Japanese culture with creativity and sophistication.
The restaurant has 380 m² and charms customers right from the entrance. The wooden slats, which cover practically all the rooms, define and define the use of the spaces, in addition to providing comfort, elegance, thermal comfort and reinforcing contact with the environment. nature. Luxurious, stones were also used in large quantities in decoration, enhancing the countertops.
The designer also innovated by creating a waiting lounge, which will be available for events. The idea behind the entire project was to reuse the existing metal structures on site.
The lighting is intimate, using rails and directional spotlights. LED strips were used occasionally to highlight the carpentry elements. The furniture was specially chosen to make visitors feel embraced and at home. The decorative objects match the earthy tones of the project and the tones of the furniture, also carrying a memory of this rich culture.
