This
100 m² apartment in Ipanema (RJ) is a true "
urban forest ", where greenery is the common thread that runs through every corner, bringing life to the project designed by architect
Paula Neder .

"Our goal was to bring nature into the apartment because it was important to the clients. To achieve this,
we prioritized the choice of natural materials and placed lots of plants ," explains the architect.

In addition to
biophilia , the apartment's renovation also integrated the spaces, preserving the
1950s style , with its wooden floors and large windows.

The
kitchen was opened up to the living room, creating a perfect living area for the couple. This
layout encourages flow between the spaces, ideal for moments of relaxation and enjoying a good glass of wine together.

"The integration between the kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as the entrance hall, are focal points of the project. The choice of the tile panel to create a vibrant focal point was intentional for an area that is important to the couple. The combination of colors brings depth and texture, creating a unique atmosphere. Meanwhile, the neutral carpentry and furniture offer a subtle balance, allowing the tile panel to continue to be the highlight, without overwhelming the space," adds Paula.

The
home office was inspired by the marine theme:
the painting of corals and ocean plants, which even covers the closet camouflaged with fabric and paint, adds a playful touch to the work environment .

In the son's room, a
whale painting by artist Giuliana Favero symbolizes the parents' love for diving, recalling the story of how they met in the waters of Arraial do Cabo.
