Throughout Brazil and Latin America,
CASACOR 2024 presented visitors with many
colorful and lively environments. It is interesting to note that a good number of professionals in the cast chose to be bold and encourage the public to bring more
color to their projects. From bright to sober tones, there was no shortage of ideas for
surprising palettes that appeal to different styles. Check out a selection of
color suggestions for the home below and make your spaces more colorful!
Vibrant balcony
(Gabriela Daltro / CASACOR)
Júnior Ordoñez opted for a bold palette to create his space at
CASACOR Sergipe . The
green, inspired by the pampas, and the
wine , which is reminiscent of grapes, celebrate Brazilian roots and tropicalism, in addition to rescuing ancestry with natural and emotional elements. This combination is a good example of colors for the home. Highlights include works by J. Inácio, Jenner Augusto and Kennedy Bahia. The furniture created by Brazilian designers highlights artisanal techniques. Designed to inspire moments of coexistence and contemplation, the gazebo aims to promote a deep connection with
nature .
Blue gradient
Architect
Nat Coelho created a gradient of blues with touches of green to enhance the architecture of the Othon Palace Hotel, headquarters of
CASACOR Bahia . The palette brought a relaxing atmosphere to the high-ceilinged space, ideal for the public to appreciate the curated art. In the space, artists Mario Vasconcelos, Annia Rizia, Allan Silva and Almir Lemos exalt the power of Afro-Diasporic culture with presentations of handmade clay works. Iuri Sarmento represents the baroque and his Portuguese ancestry with the reinterpretation of porcelain, Bruna Gidi brings the narrative of human relations through her series (EN)CENAS, with reflections on the environment and social contrasts. Jorge Amaro shows his colorful bamboos, which connect us to nature and the primitive, and Alexandre Feliciano paints Yemanjá.
Unusual combination
(Gabriela Daltro / CASACOR)
The lobby of
CASACOR Bahia has an unusual combination of colors:
blue and
orange . The result is an atmosphere of freshness and lots of personality in the project by architect
Gregory Copello . The professional's idea was to combine tradition and contemporaneity and he did this through earthy colors and prints that reflect current trends, creating a welcoming and inspiring space. Another interesting detail is that the original flooring of the Bahia Othon Palace, developed especially for the hotel on the occasion of its inauguration by Francisco Brennand's workshop, was preserved.
Chromatic subtlety
The personality of writer Clarice Lispector was the guiding principle behind the creation of this space designed by architect
Nejaim Azevedo at
CASACOR Pernambuco . Strong and dramatic, the
reddish tone of the living room is a reference to the density and poetic intensity of Clarice, who lived in Recife during her youth. To contrast, the professional opted for wooden furniture and light-colored upholstery.
Touch of red
A burnt red tone stands out in the loft
kitchen created by architect
Sabrina Lücke for
CASACOR Santa Catarina | Itapema . Note that this same color, which makes up the countertop and stone
backsplash , is repeated in the geometric
pattern of the rug. This is a space to experience everyday moments with quality and comfort.
Not afraid to mix
Architect
Karolinna Venturi created a
hall full of colors and textures for
CASACOR Paraná , where a palette of burnt tones predominates, with
yellow ,
red and
green . The space reminds us of the architects of yesteryear, when they themselves developed furniture and other items for projects. Another reference is haute couture, where everything is custom-made and each creation is exclusive. With art as the protagonist, the composition is marked by the explosion of colors and the mixture of materials.
Pink and yellow
(Renzo Rebagliati / CASACOR)
Energetic and vibrant, with shades of
yellow and
pink ,
Ignacio Martínez Argüello ’s project for
CASACOR Peru evokes the rhythm with which we usually move through life. It is like immersing ourselves in a moment of contemplation to explore the wonders of our surroundings and admire their beauty. In this symphony of design, we find harmony between the hurried pace of our existence and the serene appreciation of splendor.
Orange in everything
(Marcel Suurmond / CASACOR)
According to
Víctor Gamarra , who designed this project at
CASACOR Peru , the inspiration came from the ease of adapting to changes, understanding the environment, living and valuing the present. This space brings a mix of sensations such as freedom, calm and, above all, confidence, which is reflected in strong and vibrant colors, as well as transparencies and vegetation.
Green kitchen
This space, created by interior designer
Cacau Ribeiro at
CASACOR São Paulo , was inspired by a relaxed lifestyle that aims to make the most of every day, entertaining friends and traveling. “We value comfort and good design. The inhabitants of this loft want to live surrounded by good memories,” summarizes the designer. In addition, the professional opted for a soft color palette, with neutral tones and greens, like the one used in the
kitchen cabinets.
Refreshing palette
Antique objects that seem to be family heirlooms (plates, teapots, retro lamps, a canopy) and a wide variety of fabrics with reinterpretations of classic prints bring back memories, roots, childhood references and a sense of welcome in the space created by interior designer
Paola Ribeiro at
CASACOR São Paulo . The spaces feature geometric stripes on the ceiling, fabrics, rugs,
lamps and furniture, as well as refreshing color combinations, such as blue and green.
Navy atmosphere
In the living room with dining area, designed by architect
Ana Weege at
CASACOR São Paulo , the idea is to transcend time. A highlight of the project, the kitchen displays an unusual palette, with blue walls, red panels and brown cabinets. Gold details in the moldings and handles complete the proposal.
