Visitors to
CASACOR São Paulo 2024 will certainly be enchanted by the professionals' creativity in
using colors in decoration. The palettes, carefully studied by them, create different types of sensations as you walk through the exhibition. From
monochromatic environments to
unusual combinations , there are ideas for all tastes. Get inspired by some of them below and make your home decor more colorful!
1. Colorful kitchen
Paola Ribeiro - Casa Coral Lugar de Afeto. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2024. (MCA Estúdio/CASACOR)
Interior designer
Paola Ribeiro combined a light shade of green in this kitchen with copper-colored utensils and handles. To add even more
delicacy to the space, she chose white for the cabinets and the hood. The wall next door, which leads to the dining room, provides a soft contrast to the pink color.
2. Fresh combination
In another room in the house created by designer
Paola Ribeiro , blue and green make up a
refreshing palette . Notice how the tones were used in different ways: the intense blue tinted the wall and is present in the striped rug, while the green colors the slatted panel and the stripes on the ceiling.
3. Monochromatic proposal
NJ+ | Nildo José - Casa LG. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2024. (MCA Estúdio/CASACOR)
Earthy tones were the choice of architect
Nildo José for the house he designed for the show. From the floor covering to the carpentry, a soft terracotta is the common thread, creating an almost
monochromatic look. The result is an intimate atmosphere that invites you to relax and connect with what is truly essential to each person.
4. All blue
The color blue has many meanings for architect Bruno Reis and interior designer Helena Kallas, from the
Mandril Arquitetura office. In the
kitchen they created at CASACOR São Paulo, an intense shade of
royal blue appears on the wall, contrasting with light and natural hues. The choice of color is directly linked to the memories that the professionals have of their respective grandmothers, and, consequently, to their ancestry. While Bruno's grandmother always used the expression “Tudo azul” (All blue) to say that she was well, Helena's grandmother covered her with a blue cloak to convey protection.
5. Faded tones
Creative like few others, architect
Ana Weege always surprises with harmonious combinations of colors and shapes. In her space this year, the professional presented
a color palette with darker tones , such as variations of brown and touches of carmine red. To create a charming contrast, she incorporated other hues in lighter versions, such as blue and green. 6. Bet on pink
Shades of pink dominate the
living room of the space designed by architect
Marcelo Salum ,
an expert in the use of colors and prints in his creations. In line with the golden ratio — which has long guided construction and which may be related to patterns found in nature, such as the way flower petals are distributed — Salum alludes to roses as representatives of this ratio. The architect transmutes the essence of roses into a spatial narrative that echoes the complexity and
subtlety of the feminine . As a tribute to the iconic song "As Rosas Não Falam" by singer and composer Cartola, the space reveals an interpretation of what is feminine, revealing the strength that resides in softness and delicacy.
7. Contrasting duo
Architect
Renan Altera mixed elements that refer to the past and the future in his space at the exhibition. In the background, he created a leafy urban garden, which brings a relaxing sense of well-being. To interact with the foliage, he opted for a grayish
green tone on the walls and furniture and surprised everyone by combining the tone with a vibrant
red sofa. With elegant lines, the result is a
décor full of personality and bold use of colors.
8. Soft composition
Flavia Burin e Bruna Moretti - Café Isabela Akkari. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2024. (Bia Nauiack/CASACOR)
Architects
Flavia Burin and Bruna Moretti created a
heavenly atmosphere at the CASACOR São Paulo 2024 café. To achieve this, they opted for a palette of light tones, with pink, white and touches of gold. The highlight is the installation on the ceiling, with a structure made of acoustic clouds in the shape of petals and intertwined organza fabrics. The idea was to create a sky-like effect.
9. Natural atmosphere
In the loft created by architect
Brunete Fraccaroli, the color
blue is prominent and colors the generous island sofa, as well as decorative objects. Combined with a soft palette, including
light wood , which covers the ceiling, the tone guarantees a contemporary
décor to the space, in addition to creating a relaxing atmosphere.
10. Striking bathroom
The bathroom designed by architect
Gabriel Rosa is a tribute to the tradition and spirituality of the Himba tribe of Namibia. It is a dive into a universe of
earthy colors , natural materials and textures that transport the visitor to a state of serenity and contemplation. It is a sensory experience that invites us to slow down, reconnect with our essence and celebrate the magic of the present moment.
11. A hall with personality
Gustavo Scaramella - Hall do Apartamento. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2024. (Bia Nauiack/CASACOR)
Designed by architect
Gustavo Scaramella , this hall welcomes visitors on a sensory journey. Upon entering, they are enveloped by a
euphoric palette , highlighted by a vibrant yellow paint, applied with a compressor for a subtle, rustic, opaque effect. This vibrant color contrasts with the two-tone tauari floor (ebonized and bleached wood) and the Napoleon Bordeaux marble circles.
12. Warm palette
Conceived as a dialogue between past and present, the project by the
SALA2 Arquitetura office references vernacular architecture, which is present in several elements adapted to the present day. The
color red , inspired by the annatto plant, stands out in the palette, which also features dark wood that shapes a conical roof. These elements create a bridge between tradition and innovation, reflecting the office's commitment to celebrating Brazilian culture in its multiple dimensions.
