"It is a mistake to think of the baby's room as being exclusively for the child. After all, parents spend a lot of time there, whether breastfeeding or rocking, and our intention was to design a welcoming place for everyone, which arouses curiosity for environments with a lot of nature. Hence the idea of the tree and the vegetable garden", explains Mayara Clá who, alongside Natasha Haddad, is responsible for the Baby Room Decoration at CASACOR São Paulo 2018 . In 25
m², the duo worked, basically, with two maxims: the genderless trend (a decoration without gender) and a playful atmosphere, in addition, of course, to bringing décor and solutions for the use of the space, both for adults and children. . Based on this expectation, the professionals bet on different textures, a vegetable garden with carrots, tomatoes and pumpkins made of felt, as well as animals represented by poufs, a hammock for the child's future games and – as a highlight – a dehydrated tree by Svetlana. .
"With contemporary life we live apart from the forests where nature manifests itself in its fullness. When we saw that the theme of the exhibition isThe Living House , it was the hook to work with these elements, in addition to the initial concern which was not to delimit the environment as boy or girl. It's a baby's room," says Natasha. All the lighting is indirect, installed on the panels and ceiling through an LED strip in a very thin cove. As for the colors used, green and orange stand out, accompanied by off-white and gray, in order to create a cozy setting. , bucolic and rural.
