It took
two years for a family's dream - a couple with a daughter - to come true. In the project briefing,
Hannah Cabral and Monique Pampolha - from the
CASACOR Rio cast - received one main request: to build a house that, in addition to providing shelter, would be
tailored to the owners' personalities, meeting their individual needs.

This is how the two-story house measuring approximately
780 m² , located in Barra da Tijuca, took shape. Contemporary, the project balances the grandeur of its
façade - asymmetrical, with straight, black elements - with the softness of its interior - with a palette of light tones and minimalist décor , in a relaxing atmosphere free from excesses and noise.

What brings it all together in harmony? The
use of wood , according to Hannah. “One of the main elements of this renovation is the wood, which, in addition to being used in many of the designer pieces, is present in large panels throughout the house, tying the rooms together as a unit,” she says.

In total, the project has
four suites, an office, a kitchen, a living room integrated into the gourmet area , among other rooms. A window positioned in front of the staircase crosses from the first to the second floor, where the
bedrooms and the office are located.

“All suites have large slatted panels and large windows to take advantage of natural light. The
bathrooms follow a clean style and were covered in white marble on the floor and walls,” says Monique. “In the office, the priority was to optimize the space and keep everything organized, so we made cabinets and shelves above the desk,” she concludes.

The gourmet area, one of the
highlights of the house , is an invitation to leisure. Integrated into the living room, it can also be
separated according to the owners' wishes. The
natural wood walls connect to the ceiling and house the barbecue area, with a large table for the residents to receive guests. The space also has a sauna and swimming pool, covered with
imported porcelain tiles and an infinity edge, giving the sensation of overflowing into the garden.
