The
580 m² duplex already had an original and exclusive architecture: the property is located in a building designed by
Isay Weinfeld and has a privileged view of the São Paulo skyline. So, the mission of the
Nildo José Arquitetura office was to create an interior design that would continue the contemporary style of the apartment and that would meet the needs of the young couple with two daughters with comfort and practicality.

"Clients really value family time, so
we thought of a layout that respects the stages of life not only of the couple, but also of their daughters . The playroom, for example, has a playful atmosphere, but it is also a space for parents to be with their children and carry out family activities," says the professional.

In the
social area , the spaces can be integrated, have selected pieces of Brazilian furniture and can be used for
relaxing, entertaining, working and studying. Contrary to the current trend in the real estate market, the
balconies were not integrated with the interior and remained open, filled with landscaping that invites residents to entertain in a more relaxed and relaxed way.

The
cumaru wood floor is original to the house and needed to be restored - the tiling creates a beautiful effect with various nuances. The cold covering of the balcony also underwent a restoration process.

The
living room has a layout that deviates from the traditional configuration and features a curved sofa, an armchair with a footrest, and a careful selection of furniture for residents and guests to enjoy the view of the city. If they have their backs to the view, they will appreciate the artwork by painter
Daniel Müller , which combines perspectives and optical illusions in shades of green.
Despite its generous dimensions – 1.20 m in diameter – the
Cao Mao pendant , by designer
Constantin Wortmann , above the dining table is as light as the meaning of its name:
rice hat .

For the
home theater , the idea was to create a cinema-like atmosphere. "We applied foam fabric to the walls to improve the acoustics and reinforce the feeling of coziness. It's a space that invites the family to come together to watch a movie and enjoy good times together," explains Nildo.

The daughters'
bedrooms also received special attention, with the projects even being approved by the young clients. The eldest daughter received a
suite designed to meet the new demands of the transition phase between childhood and adolescence, with
space for receiving friends, studying, reading and a dressing table. (Denilson Machado/CASACOR)
The youngest child's
bedroom was designed as a setting to develop children's imagination:
there is carpentry in the shape of clouds and various geometric shapes to create stimuli for the little user of the room.
