Marcelo Salum pays homage to African culture in a project driven by the infectious energy of the music he grew up in . Inspired by everything from colorful Carnival costumes to samba circles, the 200 m² space incorporates a variety of references . Wooden panels reproduce Adinkra symbols, created by the Ashanti people of West Africa, while the furniture designed by Marcelo and Frederico Cruz references the emblems present in the work of artist Rubem Valentim.
