A large social area to entertain friends. This was the young couple's greatest desire when they purchased this
300 m² apartment in Ipanema. To meet all their needs, architect
Maurício Nóbrega – part of the
CASACOR Rio 2023 cast – invested in carpentry: the
chosen wood, freijó, is found throughout the property – which helps to integrate the spaces even more, in addition to making the most of every available space.
"We designed lots of doors and panels that serve both to integrate, when open, and to isolate the spaces," says Maurício, who had little influence on the decoration, as the couple chose to use the furniture they already had before moving in.
With the architect's intervention, the apartment gained a large social area, with a living room, TV room/office, dining room and integrated
kitchen , as well as a master suite with closet and bathroom and a guest
room .
The integrated kitchen was also designed by the office in Freijó, which brings even more unity to the apartment's decor.
Another highlight is the entrance door: also made of wood, it has been given a special paint job that is reminiscent of steel , giving the property a more contemporary feel.
