Marcelo Salum has a special talent for understanding and transforming environments, creating rich narratives through architectural design. At CASACOR São Paulo this year, he was invited to create the Duratex space, entitled "As Rosas Falam". As a tribute to the iconic song "As Rosas Não Falam" by singer and composer Cartola and inspired by the golden ratio of flowers , Salum conceived an environment that captures the delicacy and strength of the feminine , translating emotions and deep meanings in every detail. “My creative process led me to flowers, and from there to the exaltation of the feminine,” he explains. The furniture features items by Jader Almeida, Mauricio Arruda, Suite Design, and pieces designed by the architect himself in partnership with Frederico Cruz.
Shades of blue and pink accompany the light-colored wooden panels in the Birch pattern from the Thera line, a new launch by Duratex, which wraps the space like a box that embraces the floor, wall and ceiling. On the floor, the product was adapted for the occasion, with carpentry by Celmar Móveis. The Blush, Deep Blue and Solar Ochre patterns of the Harmonia collection add serenity and warmth to the environment. From the bathroom to the kitchen, each space is covered with Duratex products, highlighting the new Italian Days collection by Ceusa in partnership with SOUQ, by Traudi Guida , known for her irreverent curation .
