Facing
São Conrado beach (RJ) , this apartment designed by
Paola Ribeiro – from the CASACOR cast – has the sea as the backdrop for the project. The blue of the ocean complements the affectionate and colorful decor that permeates all
240 m² of the property.
In the
living room , a large
American oak bookcase integrates the TV area with the bar and embraces the existing beam. In the living room, the
black and white striped rug and acrylic table were custom-made to create fluidity, without taking away from the landscape.
The white lacquered woodwork makes up the
buffet and china cabinet in the dining room, as well as panels that camouflage the social access doors, from the
bedrooms ,
kitchen and toilet, to the social door. The black dining chairs were one of the client's initial requests.
In the
kitchen , the black and white
checkered floor was also requested by the residents. The covering was joined by
wainscoting on the wall, wooden furniture and
floral wallpaper , which give charm and comfort to the space.
The
travertine countertop in the bathroom has a metalwork base and the walls were artistically painted with clouds, done by artist
Anamelia Morais .
In the
baby's room , the personality is given by the shades of
red and blue. "We mixed carpentry with wallpaper, covering the walls and ceiling. The fabrics of the layette, in the same color palette, create a mix of prints", says Paola.
The
crystal chandelier in the couple's bedroom is a family heirloom. Here, there is also
boiserie on the wall and, inside the frames, there is
wallpaper with a soft wild landscape with branches, flowers and birds. The bedside tables follow the classic style and the contemporary touch appears in the design of the reading lamps.
Finally, in the couple's bathroom, the
soaking tub and the extra Italian Calacata marble lining are the highlights along with the corten-colored metals.
