The
Nildo José Arquitetura office is responsible for the complete renovation of this
450 m² apartment located in the Panamby neighborhood (SP). The residents – a young couple with children – enjoy staying at home with their family, playing with the kids and entertaining friends. They also love a good wine.
"They asked for a
contemporary and timeless design , but at the same time, with a selection of coverings that would bring a feeling of
warmth and welcome ", says the office.
Although the wooden floor in the private area was preserved, the rest was completely modified:
wooden panels and lining appear throughout the social area – but the difference lies in the triangular shape of the slats .
The living room has a
wine cellar integrated by a glass door next to the
fireplace . And landscaping points on the balcony give a green touch to the project.
“With an incredible
view of Parque Burle Marx and Parque Pinheiros , we created a project that would be great for entertaining, but that could be enjoyed by the whole family, using important points of São Paulo as a backdrop,” says the office.
To keep the spotlight on the space, the color palette features
warm, monochromatic tones throughout the integrated social area. The same colors appear in the work by artist
Mai Britte Wolthers , positioned in the living room.
The furniture highlights include the armchairs designed by
Oscar Niemeyer and the darkened natural freijó woodwork.
