For the four men who live in this
245 m² apartment, the
Nildo José Arquitetura office – from the
CASACOR SP 2024 cast – planned a
masculine project , but without leaving personality and style aside. The challenge was to reconcile the tastes of all the residents, since the grandfather, the father and the two grandsons are all different ages.
“The style of the apartment is sober and masculine. The
dark wood tones prevail, in addition to the
gray floor and the
neutral walls in a light gray tone. We installed lighting points with decorative pieces of indirect light, creating charming and cozy environments”, explains the office.
The complete interior renovation included
the kitchen , service area, pantry, service
bathroom , integrated living room with bar, intimate room and four suites. Unlike the current trend of integration,
the laundry room and kitchen were separated from the social areas .
As the family loves to have parties and get-togethers at home to welcome friends and family,
a bar with a lounge with four armchairs and a counter for preparing drinks and other beverages was created on the integrated balcony . “This is certainly the charm of the project: the counter and wall are made of polished
Gris Armani marble and the cabinet is made of
natural walnut wood veneer ,” say the professionals.
Finally, the furniture and décor were composed of many pieces from the family's treasure trove and memories. Items from the collection include the Red Armchair, designed by the
Campana brothers ; the collection of Portuguese Sardines produced in ceramics by
Bordallo Pinheiro ; and the Zettel'z pendant, by
Ingo Maurer .
