Wood is a great ally in decorating environments. Bold and timeless, it is a great bet for creating
cozy spaces by bringing a natural aspect to the project. The use of wood is timeless and is always present at CASACOR exhibitions – and now, at
CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021 , this was no different. The contrast of wood with other elements creates a
surprising mix of textures and this is present in practically all CASACOR spaces that
combine warmth and elegance , after all, there is nothing like having an inviting atmosphere in a space that, on top of that, is beautiful. Next, check out how our
cast from Santa Catarina took advantage of all the advantages of
decorating with wood and came up with projects that are pure inspiration.
Breathe by Mariana Maisonnave
Mariana Maisonnave invites visitors to her
gourmet living room to take time for themselves and breathe, reflecting the need to reconnect with what is truly important. The
minimalist style adopted by the architect is materialized in the
use of wood in different parts , which brings a feeling of warmth that the space so demands. Whether on the
walls, the ceiling or even the furniture , the
Respiro space shows that it is possible to cover different spaces with wood without weighing down the decoration.
Cosmopolitan Loft by Mariana Pesca
With subtlety and modernity, the
Cosmopolitan Loft by
Mariana Pesca has wooden coverings to integrate the 78 m² in an elegant way, which reflects the precepts of minimalism.
Ceiling, furniture and even a beautiful central and multipurpose panel externalize the power of wood to bring harmony in a modern and technological atmosphere.
Plural Space by Beto Gebara and Marila Filártiga
The simplicity of
Espaço Plural did not make it any less elegant, thanks to the work carried out by
Beto Gebara and Marila Filártiga . Wood is present in the slatted ceiling and also in the furniture – highlighting the central shelf that runs throughout the social area. The contrast of this natural element with the earthy tones of the walls
reinforces the footprint in line with the space's environment .
Intimate Room by Anna Maya
Nothing like a
multipurpose space to work, rest and entertain . This was
Anna Maya 's proposal, who put the concept into practice using warm colors combined with natural elements and plants. Of course, the use of
wood was not left out. The architect invested in a slatted panel across the entire back wall of the room, which conveys warmth and awakens creativity.
Loft Naturalle by Michael Zanghelini
Loft Naturalle is a true return to ancestry, with its laid-back style that awakens sensory memories. Wood is present covering almost all surfaces of the space designed by
Michael Zanghelini . In the bedroom, the
wood contrasts with the leather on the headboard and the natural fiber elements present in the room.
Veredas Authorship Design by Natália Xavier
The work
Grande Sertão: Veredas, by Guimarães Rosa was
Natália Xavier 's inspiration in creating this space, designed to value and honor Brazilian designers and their works. Wood is everywhere, including on the floor and ceiling, including the furniture, showing that it is possible
to create a sophisticated and timeless space using few elements .
