Natural light: CASACOR SC architect gives tips on how to achieve the effect!

Lighting is one of the most important elements in bringing life to an architectural project . A lighting project needs to go beyond the trivial and offer functionality for the residents' daily lives. Taking advantage of natural light is a desire, but it is not always possible. There are environments that do not have windows , or apartments that are in a disadvantaged position for sunlight to enter. It was with these difficulties in mind that architect Bia Kestering presented the Gourmet Opponere project at CASACOR Balneário Camboriú. The project signed by Kestering presents some ways to bring in "natural" light, such as the tensioned screen that embraces its space , starting from the bathroom. "The screen has the function of creating a broader light, without the light and shadow effect that spotlights provide. For this reason, it is often used to generate daytime lighting in spaces that require it, in addition to bringing a scenic and glamorous sensation. To install this screen, you must have an adequate structure and the ideal is to think about this detail from the beginning of a project", advises Kestering. The architect explains that this type of solution serves as a backdrop for shelves, bars and areas designed to welcome guests . For intimate areas, it is possible to adopt this technique, which is also effective when used in closets, dressing tables, as well as on walls and ceilings .

As a suggestion, the architect recommends directing the lighting to the details to highlight the textures. "This can be done using five-point spotlights , nano spotlights for details on the walls, floor lamps to highlight some decorations and neon LEDs to frame the carpentry," concludes the architect.
