Lofts have become an increasingly popular form of contemporary living. The 29th CASACOR Paraná , which runs until July 23 in Curitiba, features four spaces inspired by this fully integrated, young and bold model, in which the intimate and social merge into a single, large space , in line with the theme ' Body & Home ' of this year's show.

A veteran of the show, where he has been present without interruption since 2008, architect Marcelo Lopes designed the Cosmopolitan Loft for this edition. The space was conceived as the home of someone with a great cultural background and who translates this range of references into his home, bringing with him his Brazilian origins, materialized in the space in nationally designed furniture. The space incorporates the theme Body & Home in the details full of curves, in the definition of the color palette and in the choice of furniture, whose composition of pieces proposes a bold and contemporary combination. The installation “Sementes ao Vento”, by Marilene Ropelato, was produced and assembled in the space by the visual artist.

The spacious 104 m² Meu Refúgio Loft was designed by architect Carla Grüdtner as a space of peace, welcome and contemplation that “embraces” visitors, inviting them to breathe, relax and slow down. The palette of earthy and neutral tones stands out, but colors also make an appearance, as in the velvet dining chairs in vibrant hues. A large glass opening in the ceiling bathes the space in natural light and brings nature inside. Wool, leather, stone, wood, straw and natural weaves enhance the feeling of comfort and well-being. The many Brazilian design pieces give personality to the space, as does the colorful tapestry by artist Alex Rocca just behind the sofa.
Making her debut at the event, architect Adriana Marcassa Cotrin is bringing a space inspired by the works of André Baía, a leading figure in the new generation of visual artists. Called the Artist's Loft , the eccentric and disruptive space features a variety of colors, shapes and textures, as well as the artist's personality-filled canvases, which stray from a linear narrative. The fluid space creates an immersive and sensorial experience for the viewer, creating their own unique atmosphere for each one. Baía is one of the highlights of the space, performing his work live during the Show.

For their first year at CASACOR Paraná , the architect couples Evelyn and Jackson Zacharias, from Studio Kaza Arquitetura , and Dandara and Willian Sydor, from Sydor Arquitetura , are bringing the Loft Origem , with the feel of a luxury hotel suite. The space attempts to materialize human emotions and feelings regarding the recent search for meaning and refuge in living. The furniture in organic, loose and light shapes refers to nature and the human body, in addition to giving the sensation of a more natural environment, thanks to noble materials, such as natural stones and wood. The professionals bet on textures, with walls that resemble the weave of cotton and lamps made of leather and fabric, creating a kind of celebration of the senses.
