The Refúgio House , designed by Juliana Marques and Roberta Lanza, from GRIFF Arquitetura , for CASACOR Paraná 2024 , is a 112 m² space designed to offer rest and disconnection in the middle of nature. Inspired by the gabled roof houses of the immigrants who arrived in Paraná from 1820 onwards, the building brings history, modernity and current technologies, full of memories and functional for everyday experiences. Built in just 40 days using a galvanized steel frame system, the house stands out for its efficiency and sustainability , featuring a clean and automated construction for controlling light, sound and fireplaces. Internally, Casa Refúgio values natural materials such as clay, straw, wood and stone, harking back to indigenous and European heritage. The living room, with a six-meter ceiling, is covered in wood and connected to the outside by large glass panels, integrating it with nature. Fernanda Trombini Perez’s art curation includes original photographs and a natural wool tapestry installation that evokes the comfort and history of grandmothers’ handlooms. The outdoor fireplace, designed by GRIFF and produced by LCZ, is another highlight. Service – CASACOR Paraná 2024
