CASACOR Brasília 2018 will run until today, October 30, with 39 spaces designed by 60 professionals. This year, the 27th edition focused on highlighting the importance of nature in residential and commercial projects. Diversity of species, sustainability and automation were the professionals' bets for gardens. Below we highlight some projects: Glass House, by Estúdio Orla. The vertical garden in the space was designed to convey joy and comfort to visitors. Light, harmoniously textured foliage in light green and lilac tones was carefully chosen to compose the space. Automated irrigation is present in the garden, which brought lightness to the external area of the space. “Vertical gardens provide a feeling of well-being. Designing spaces with greenery brings life to the spaces”, emphasizes Flávia Carvalho, landscaper responsible for the external part of the space designed by Estúdio Orla. Olive Garden, by Depieri Paisagismo. Covering 1,500 m², the project includes two olive trees that are over two centuries old. With sustainability in mind, plants that do not require much water and are adapted to the peculiarities of the arid climate were chosen. LED lighting, also economical, highlights the species on display. Jardim das Sensações, by Fábio Camargo. The reference for the project came from Le Jardin de Plaisir, by Andre Mollet, dedicated to Queen Christina of Sweden in the 17th century. The 400 m² space provides areas to observe the charms of the landscape, as well as that of its inspiration. The professional chose to explore the sensory and sustainability through materials such as wood, mirrors and copper. Jardim Cor de Cerrado, by Gustavo Gall and Érica Cabral . In 126 m², the duo showcases the richness of the local biome. Here, 15 different native species are on display – and only two ornamental ones, to compose the landscaping. The volume of the environment is composed of corten steel and its warm tone, which gains relevance amidst the greenery. CASACOR SERVICE Brasilia 2018 WHEN?
