Nãna Guimarães designed the Jardim Olimpo at CASA COR Minas Gerais 2016. The professional was inspired by the Olympic Games that took place in Rio de Janeiro to compose the landscaping project celebrating the joy and unity of the people that the competition worships.
The professional played with the elements of stone, water and fire to create a bold and contemporary environment. The highlight of the space is the Pierre de Coubertin Fireplace, which resembles an Olympic cauldron and was named after the baron considered the father of the modern Olympics.
The garden has a tropical theme. Palm trees and mulberry trees represent the greenery in the space where white flowers and purple yams stand out. The environment is the calling card for those who enter the exhibit. The experience is even more impressive for those who stay there to admire the view of Pampulha Lagoon from the rustic wooden benches, sofa and tables.
The project also includes a specially lit water mirror and a jabuticaba tree that was already part of the land.
