The search for more
natural lighting and quality of life led a young couple to seek out architect and interior designer
Ticiane Lima – from the
CASACOR SP cast – to renovate this
76 m² , old and dark apartment, located in the Jardins neighborhood, in São Paulo.
To achieve the clients' objective, some structural reforms were necessary: the property, which initially had two
bedrooms , now only had one for the couple, and the other was integrated into the living room,
kitchen and service area, providing a greater sense of spaciousness, in addition to freeing up more space for the dining room.
Another important change was made to the couple's
bathroom , which had a very small space. The area that was used for circulation in the bedrooms was now integrated into it, making it more spacious, modern, cozy and functional.
The service area was camouflaged so as not to be visible when receiving friends; which the residents do frequently, as they love music and have a hobby of playing as a DJ, in addition to preparing good drinks.
"We wanted to bring light and life to the space next to the balcony, which allowed us good natural lighting.
The green tone forms a box in the circulation corridor and was an economical option to achieve a result like camouflaged doors", concludes Ticiane.
