CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2018 opened its doors to the public today, September 18, and will run until November 4, at the Monteiro Aranha group property in Glória.Casa Viva is interpreted in 42 environments, which offer the best of architecture, design, landscaping, and decoration. One of them is the Urban Refuge , by BC Arquitetos! Designed by Bruno Carvalho and Camila Avelar, integration is the space's main focus, which emphasizes the use of natural materials. With 201 m² , the building facilitates movement between the spaces, without any barriers. The wooden furniture and greenish tones bring visitors even closer to nature, which is integrated into the space. In the outdoor area, the 4 m long Unlimited pool catches the attention of visitors. The relaxed atmosphere is guaranteed by the choice of furniture. Bruno Carvalho explains: "we designed an urban refuge focused on the nature of the place, with a modular layout that emphasizes circulation." The bedroom, located at the back of the room, preserves privacy while still allowing contact with nature, freshness and natural light. The emphasis on the wooden floor gives unity to the refuge.
