Measuring 140 m², this duplex apartment in São Paulo features a
color palette of white, black and wood – with a few touches of green. The project, designed by architect
Gabriela Prado – from
CASACOR São Paulo 2024 – follows a more
industrial style, characterized mainly by the lighting tracks suspended by steel cables.
The entrance to the apartment is marked by a
cloakroom with a futon seat on top of drawers that serves as a shoe rack. Next to it, a small pantry that can be hidden by folding doors supports this floor, since the kitchen is on the upper floor.
A bar occupies the space under the stairs. In the
living room , the
slab is visible and the
rack with a slatted door hides the electronics, without preventing the infrared from the remote control from passing through.
The second floor houses the social area:
kitchen with island, laundry room that can be hidden in the carpentry and a dining room that is located below a skylight. The area reserved for relaxation features a
mobile fireplace, an L-shaped sofa and a jacuzzi with access levels with futons. The
cactus garden adds charm to the space and the entire area has retractable glass enclosures and blinds.
