The facade of a house is the first impression it makes, serving as a business card and expressing a lot about the
style of the residents. In addition to protecting and valuing the property, it contributes to the urban scenery and influences how we perceive the space around us. Therefore, it is an essential part of the
identity and architectural function of any building. In Brazil, we find an incredible diversity of facades. Among the most commonly used materials are
masonry, glass, and wood. As for styles, the most common are
colonial, modern and rustic, reflecting both the
cultural richness and the climatic peculiarities of the country. In urban areas, modern facades dominate, while regional styles bring authenticity and charm to the landscapes of each region. Facades inspired by
modernist traits, with some
contemporary characteristics, rely on
straight lines and the use of materials such as concrete. These facades prioritize the integration between internal and external
projects and focus on sustainability. The result is a design that unites aesthetics and functionality in an innovative and harmonious way.
