(Bia Nauiack/CASACOR)
After years marked by minimalist, neutral and restrained interiors, decor is once again embracing visual information, affective memory and personality. At CASACOR Paraná, prints appear not only on rugs, but also on sofas, niches, curtains, wallpapers and even on the ceiling. The trend revives the atmosphere of old houses in a contemporary and sophisticated reading.
Prints, full-bodied fabrics and denser compositions reappear in projects as a counterpoint to the clean aesthetic of recent years. The movement follows a desire for cozier, more emotional and authorial homes — spaces that seem inhabited and built over time.
(Bia Nauiack/CASACOR)
In the Dining and Living Room by architect Karolinna Venturi, a printed sofa sets the tone of the project and reinforces this proposal, creating a welcoming atmosphere far from any decorative neutrality.

Elements once associated with traditional decor gain new appeal. What returns is not a literal reproduction of the past, but a more refined interpretation of affective memory. In the project by Camila Rocha, for example, the wallpaper goes beyond the walls and also covers the ceiling, wrapping the entire space in a unique and immersive composition.
The new phase of decor values history and identity through layers and visual depth. In more sober tones and with intimate lighting, prints help create sensory projects, in which spaces are no longer just a backdrop and start to express repertoire and personality.
For designer and owner of a reference store in fabrics and wallpapers, Nitsa Vianna, this search reflects a broader behavioral change. “People want homes with soul again. Fabrics have this power to bring memory, comfort and identity. What was once seen as too classic today appears in a much more authorial and sophisticated way,” she says.
