Next Saturday, May 18th, marks the beginning of
CASACOR Paraná ! The 26th
edition of the exhibition will occupy the center of Curitiba, based in the Zoller Building Center, with the intention of
rescuing the history and architecture of the region. The environments will be based on the
Planeta Casa theme, which will guide all of
CASACOR 's 2019 exhibitions. In order to raise expectations for Paraná, we selected 5 of the best environments from previous editions. Check it out!

In 2018, architects
Moacir Schmitt and Sávio Moraes Júnior developed a multipurpose space, starring the Artefacto modular sofa, which takes on different configurations due to its asymmetry. The living room floor is covered almost entirely by the 28 m² checkered carpet. The walls were covered with MDF Duratex panels, keeping the covering tones similar, with the exception of the ceiling, which the duo chose to keep unlined to highlight the wooden structure. The architects are part of the 2019 cast of
CASACOR São Paulo .

Creating the balcony by
Alessandro Cavalcanti and Ricardo Makhoul was a challenge: narrow and on the contour of the house, with three different sides, the environment was solved with sectorization. Thus, specific spaces were designated to contemplate the garden, relax and socialize. The walls were heated with wooden panels and circulation was optimized with fixed furniture. The selection of furniture was privileged, with pieces by Jader Almeida, Sergio Rodrigues and Irmãos Campana.
In 2016, Guilherme Torres created a luxurious environment in which points of light, moldings and curves disappear, offering an environment without layout markings. With white walls, oak floors and diffused light, the space also features exotic Brazilian marble wall cladding, in shades of amber, green and red. This color even highlights the rug and the eccentric horse lamp, found by the professional on a trip to Turkey. Torres also designs the Slice and Pil sofas as well as the Fifties and Spin tables. Mauricio Pinheiro Lima and Carla Mattioli promote a sensorial and cozy environment in a 65 m² living room. The environment was created inside a box closed with drywall, but the featured material is white Paraná marble, present in the fireplace, which promotes visual, aesthetic and ergonomic comfort. Combining architecture with contemporary art was one of the desires that guided the creation of the residential environment, as can be seen in the neon wall sculpture, by artist Ale Mazzarolo, and the brass bench designed by designer Ronald Sasson.
