Small spaces: tips for making the most of and maximizing environments
CASA COR is here to present new solutions for living, bringing trends from abroad that can be found in homes and inspiring the public. One of these new developments was the presence of small spaces. Some professionals showed that it is possible to live in a smaller space without losing comfort and luxury. 12-Home-Office---Tatiane-Madeiro-,-Bianca-David-e-Sylvia-Gabriel
The solutions used in the space included the adaptation of a double bed with a built-in system, which allows it to be folded away, and a retractable home with a bar was also installed, including a rotating table on its own axis for meals. The laundry room and the pantry were placed in hidden cabinets within the custom furniture, which, if kept inside the closed doors of the modules, remain hidden. 15-Gabriel Inamine-Mini-Studio---Caroline-Elkis-02 Another space with great solutions was Caroline Elkis' Mini Studio , at CASA COR São Paulo 2015. The space, measuring just 21 m², had a living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom. The suspended bed was the highlight, as it could be raised or lowered. The inspiration came from small apartments in the USA and Europe in the 50s and 60s. "To make the most of a space, we can suggest to the resident the use of colors, materials and technology that provide better use, the dimensions of the furniture to provide functionality and ergonomics in small spaces and the decoration with lighting that allows creating an innovative and contemporary atmosphere", advises Tatiane.
