The Living Space opens up for meetings and good conversations with the resignification of raw elements, which cover large surfaces. Designed by interior designer Elaine Verçosa and architect Yeda Garcia and part of the 28th edition of CASACOR Brasília , the space features 104 m² divided into kitchen and living room. Among its distinctive materials is brushed brass in a golden hue, a global trend that covers a significant area of the space. In addition, there is also perforated metal sheet, polished quartz and a large marble panel, cut and fitted like a puzzle. -heads to one of the walls.

Specific works of art conceptualize the living room, such as the sculpture by the artist João Trevisan . The environment also features paintings by Athos Bulcão , Ricardo Homen and Hassan Bourkia , which harmonize the tone of the exclusive furniture and demonstrate the professionals' appreciation for natural and neutral. The marble floor is adorned with a raw carpet. The permeability of the brise-soleils makes them the main element of the windows, which do away with curtains to bring more light and ventilation to the place. “It is a trend to bring nature into spaces. With this resource we ensure that the garden can also be seen from inside the environment”, explains Elaine.

The duo’s intention was to allow for the integration of various functions, using the kitchen as the base where everything takes place. “Cooking in front of family and friends is part of Brazilians’ daily lives. We wanted to create something that had the essence of modern living.” ”, comments Yeda Garcia. To achieve this, they designed the kitchen in shades of gray that match the stainless steel of the technology used, such as the built-in countertop extractor fan.
