Any collector's home requires a layout that highlights the collection and truly values the dedication that went into curating it. The Nube apartment, designed byNatalia Minas and Gabriela Mestriner , shows that collections were not made to be hidden away in a closed room. To accommodate the residents' extensive library of CDs and books, the design of thisapartmentlocated in Jardim Europa combined the useful with the pleasant — or the beautiful with the necessary .The strategy to give originality to the residents' collection was to incorporate a brutalist architectural language into the project. By using the building's structural forms, brutalism helped shape the CD shelves.

The design chosen for the CD collection also extends to the living room, where the brutalist trend continues in the bookshelf placed above the furniture. Thus, the project has transformed the collectors' collection from being just a collection to becoming the centerpiece of the apartment .

Although the idea is to build a space that welcomes the outdoors, the design does not lose sight of the need for comfort . The feeling of coziness comes from the material chosen to compose the flooring and roofing of the social areas: wood . In addition to matching the landscaping, it brings thermal, acoustic and tactile comfort through its neutral tone. The wood also pairs well with the rustic granite used in the entrance panel, staircase and structures of the kitchen, dining room and bar. The granite maintains the soft appearance chosen for the project, and brings a cool tone that contrasts with the warmth of the decoration, present in the terracotta velvet of the chairs and armchairs; as well as in the green of the ornamental plants.
