Poll: which room at CASACOR Minas 2022 is your favorite?
Natan Gil Arquitetura - Urban Oasis - Hotel room
01/09 -

Natan Gil Arquitetura - Urban Oasis - Hotel room. Designed as an oasis in the city, where you can disconnect from the urban chaos, the environment is one of tranquility. With a bamboo backdrop from end to end, works of art and elaborate design, it integrates with nature, with a reflecting pool facing the forest. With a clean ceiling and a simulated skylight, the light is indirect and calm. Above the sofa, lamps designed by the architect made of brass and steel resemble butterflies.

Igor Zanon - Casa No
02/09 -

Igor Zanon - Casa Nó. With Minas Gerais simplicity without being simplistic and a rocky and chic feel, the project features ecogranite walls and lining in a color reminiscent of ore. Highlight for the metalon covering that gives the idea of white lace. The bedroom and living room have a room with a hollow screen and the kitchen, open and deconstructed, has pieces from artisans from Minas Gerais. A unique fireplace that looks like a wood-burning stove and works of art masterfully lined up the scene.

Janaina Araújo - Estúdio na Mata. With just over 50 m², this project offers much more than the basics, in a peaceful environment, ideal for a couple's weekend. A house to be inserted in any landscape, it brings the charm of corten steel facades, the transparency of glass, the warmth of burnt cement and a large skylight. A bedroom with an open-concept bathroom, kitchen, living room, lots of charm and intelligent solutions.

BCMF Arquitetos - Motorhome. Designed by Silvio Todeschi and Marcos Guimaraes, the project shows that the motorhome is literally a journey, even before it hits the road. And when it does, it can take the house with it, with great comfort and charm. Here, it has a deck that turns into a lounge chair on the roof and, fitted under the sofa/bed, even a bathtub. In addition to the slatted wood on the ceiling and walls, Formica is used on the floor, countertop, bathroom and closet, lending lightness and charm.

Bethany Birth - Voktum Master Suite
05/09 -

Betânia Nascimento - Voktum Master Suite. The suite was designed for a couple who likes to enjoy life in their favorite corner of the world: their own home. The space is light and elegant, inviting relaxation. In light tones and using natural materials, the space has tauari heels on the floor, quartzite on the TV wall and a spa carved in brushed Bahia beige travertine, also present on the counter. A vertical garden and another with bromeliads bring nature closer.

Ana Paula Paolinelli - Couple's Refuge
06/09 -

Ana Paula Paolinelli - Couple's Shelter. The main concept proposes a refuge that offers several possibilities for interaction with nature. Nautical teak, the wood used, covers the façade, is on the entrance walkway and internally covers the entire space from floor to ceiling, used in slats and smooth panels. Glass frames with wooden blinds and also pivoting ones bring the interior and exterior closer together. Highlights include designer pieces and numerous works of art.

Open architecture - Beach Pavilion. Unconventional, the proposal by Ramon Duplá, Caio Faria and Vinicius Fonseca is an efficient support point. In three modules, living room, bathroom/dining room and bedroom, the house has only a rigid central core, allowing freedom of occupation. Raised above the ground, it has a structure made of wooden stakes that repeat rhythmically and only two seals are used: the red metal tile on the roof and wrappings of fluid and light fabrics. An ethical and aesthetic choice that prioritizes materials in their rawest state.

Studio 126 Arquitetura - Palafita do Curral. Built on metal stilts and surrounded by a garden, the construction is an invitation to the subjective dimension of time, space and memory. An environment that reinforces the relationship between humans, architecture, contexts and landscape. The wooden deck welcomes and surrounds the master suite. Protection and welcome are symbolized in the art pieces that add a mystical atmosphere to the space, combined with good design.

Laura Santos - Living Infinito LS
09/09 -

Laura Santos - Living Infinito LS. With great comfort, the project embraces nature and is geared towards the family settings of today's life. The interior includes the master bedroom, home office and a play area for the children, experiences learned during the pandemic. The exterior area is a space for breakfast, with a table made of reclaimed wood and an organic coffee table, designed by the architect. The living room features the charm of pieces by Brazilian artists.

Another successful edition of CASACOR Minas Gerais is coming to an end at Palácio das Mangabeiras, in Belo Horizonte. With 50 rooms , most of them concentrated in the gardens of the former official residence of the state governors – giving extra attention to the architecture, with a large number of buildings designed especially for the show – CASACOR Minas also brought ideas for bedrooms , an environment that gained a wide range of interpretations in this edition. And we're not exaggerating: in addition to the classic and cozy suite, everyone's dream for their own home, the professionals also imagined solutions for integrated bedrooms, hotel rooms and even motorhomes . All of this under the umbrella of " Infinite Private ", a theme of CASACOR 's exhibitions in 2022 that refer to spaces that prioritize physical, mental and spiritual well-being, harmony, balance and also comfort.
