Working from home has become a reality for many people, and four years after the
boom in
remote work , there are those who still defend the model and others who prefer to return to the office. For
Letícia Nannetti , an architect from
CASACOR São Paulo , the middle ground was the best choice to be close to work without giving up the privacy and absolute comfort of her home.

In the same building, located in
Pouso Alegre , a city in the south of Minas Gerais, she combined the office that houses her team and receives her clients and, on the upper floor, the
240 m² duplex where she lives.

The corporate façade does a great job of disguising the cozy atmosphere that hides inside the duplex and, as a bonus, allows for
natural light . As you climb a flight of stairs, the
double-height ceiling in the living room is a sign of cozy interior design, marked by a palette of light tones and the presence of wood in several elements.

“Our focus was to design a building that would become a point of interest in the urban landscape of Pouso Alegre, one of the main municipalities in southern Minas Gerais, with an imposing façade that would also provide the privacy necessary for its residential function,” he explains.
A trademark in her architectural projects, Letícia chose to bring in
natural elements and create a
welcoming, timeless and stylish atmosphere . To achieve this, colors and fabrics come together and convey a harmony and delicacy that is highly sought after for spaces.

Integrated with the kitchen, the
dining room has a square lacquered table , accompanied by 8 chairs that combine light wood with straw on the seat and back.

“I really like this elegant simplicity and the naturalness that the weave of these screens gives to the spaces”, says the architect.

The
bedroom follows the same neutral atmosphere applied to the
social areas – with lots of light wood and modern decorative elements. In addition, a generous area was set aside for the closet, separated from the bedroom by a
concealed door .
