From Lina Bo Bardi to Di Cavalcanti, a room with treasures at CASACOR SP

Arriving home and turning on a lamp created by Lina Bo Bardi. Without leaving the sofa, admiring a painting by Di Cavalcanti and naturally interacting with pieces by so many other artists and designers in the living room. The Collector's Living Room, at CASACOR São Paulo 2019 , invites you to to this exercise of imagination and creates the experience of being at home amidst a selection of important pieces, made by someone with a keen eye. Interior designer Naomi Abe designs the space, surrounded by expectation - after all, she won the award of the best living room at CASACOR São Paulo 2018 . The antechamber is designed in a minimalist, monochromatic cube of green hydraulic tiles. Visitors can sit, as if in a museum, to contemplate the space's first works: A Traição do Olhar, by Flavio Cerqueira, and Marcia Pastore (untitled). Naomi Abe makes no secret of the fact that her inspiration for the creation of this 80 m² space was her passion for art, design and architecture. At the entrance, the special portico was painted by the Adriana and Carlota studio, inspired by Anni Albers - a textile artist and printmaker. American, born in Germany. On the ceiling, the illuminated path with circles connects the anteroom and the living room, bringing a reference to the modernist architecture of the 1950s. Right in the center of the living room, a Lina Bo Bardi lamp was placed - the architect designed this model, which is still in the kitchen of her Glass House , where she lived in São Paulo. Another highlight is the long green velvet sofa, with 5 meters long, in the same tone as the curtains. The floor is also green. For contrast, the rug by artist Alfredo Barbosa de Oliveira breaks the monochrome of the base. Also note the painting Mulata by Di Cavalcanti and the sculpture Les Bijoux de Madame Sade by Tunga on the coffee table. The walls also feature a painting by Norberto Nicolá and studies of the tapestry designs by Jean Gillon and Rubem Dario. The composition also has space for vintage items, such as the Fornasetti plate, the Eames couple's elephant and birds, a collection of Alexander Girard dolls and George Nelson's clock. These design pieces are harmoniously combined , some antique chests and boxes, as well as green Murano glass.
