Located in the southern part of
Rio de Janeiro, the apartment designed by
Timbó Arquitetura and designed by Gabriel Santa Ritta and Mariana Fischer has become a favorite meeting place for the client's friends and family
, who is a true enthusiast of
elaborate drinks and
good food . That's exactly why the project's
design has
cuisine as the heart of the apartment , and the spaces were all created to share good times with those who frequent the space.
The plan was remodeled to integrate the living room and kitchen through an irregularly shaped peninsula nicknamed the boomerang by the architects. Previously, the spaces were segmented by masonry, with a bedroom and a service bathroom that were demolished. The tip of the boomerang bites into the false column, built to concentrate and hide all the building pipes that were diverted to make the project viable. (Flavia Palazzo/Divulgação)
With generous countertops and state-of-the-art equipment, the kitchen has kept all utensils visible, providing practicality and ergonomics in the chef's workflow. The 300-bottle wine cellar and the equipped bar complete the gastronomic experience.

The interior design project features a refined collection of signed modernist furniture pieces sold at auction, as well as a collection of important Brazilian art. Names such as Sergio Rodrigues, Jorge Zalszupin and Percival Lafer appear alongside works by Volpi, Adriana Varejão, Kika Carvalho, Rafael Hayashi and many others. (Flavia Palazzo/Divulgação)
The balcony brings a bit of nature into the residence, with a good variety of species from the Atlantic Forest and an orchid panel — a backdrop for the shower used on the hottest days in the wonderful city . (Flavia Palazzo/Divulgação)
