Light is also a character in the composition of the Deca Nordic Kitchen , designed by Natália Xavier , for Janelas CASACOR, Santa Catarina edition. The professional sought a minimal and functional design, reflecting the search for the essential, in times of uncertainty.

For the furniture, only the essential pieces for the room were selected: a table, a bench and a bookcase. The empty spaces, together with a high ceiling, allow all the light to enter without obstacles, creating a clean atmosphere and giving a feeling of spaciousness to the occupant. The color palette is lean, composed of the contrast between white and black, balanced by beige tones.

To ensure that the kitchen did not feel too cold or impersonal, several natural materials and references to nature were used, bringing the project to life. The natural stone countertop stands out, and ends up transforming into a rustic wooden top, supported on a tree that projects almost to the ceiling. On the shelf, the many objects bring personality to the project and create a visually interesting scene when grouped according to color criteria.
