Encouraging good conversations and meetings, the Dream Kitchen extends over 45 m² in a contemporary industrial style and uses technology to provide well-being . As part of the 40 environments that make up CASACOR Santa Catarina , the space designed by Christina Lago and Gabriel Hering also has the name #istoéelettromec, a reference to the technology that supplied the kitchen with equipment such as a barbecue, cooktop, hood, ovens, washing machine crockery, beer cooler, wine cellar and ice machine. When thinking about the space, the architects wanted to reinforce its character as a family meeting place. For Chris Lago, the combination of modern and colonial furniture brings the functionality that the space requires, without leaving aside its relationship with memories and its proximity to the family.

The furniture arrangement revolves around the gourmet island, which is integrated with the dining table. The large canvas located at the back of the composition is the work of Rubens Oestroem from Santa Catarina, which establishes a visual dialogue with the tones of the environment.

Materials such as stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and gourmet island tops, matte exotic granite on the table and MDF panels on the furniture contribute to reinforcing the functionality of the space. The predominantly earthy colors were essential to not weigh down the environment, as Gabriel explains. "We chose the combination of spice tones, such as pumpkin tones, which surround the mise-en-scène of the act of cooking, among shades of off white, grey and black".
