Paintings, sculptures, photographs, engravings ... all these elements can be used to bring life and transform hallways into real art galleries. “Easy to create and full of personality, a gallery wall is one of the most fun ways to decorate a hallway,” says Carina. In this case, the wall can be neutral, highlighting works of art, collages or photographs. . A beautiful sculpture, placed at the end of the corridor , can also stand out, attracting attention.

Different colors

Striking, eye-catching colors help bring personality to spaces. "One tip is to use monochrome , which is very popular right now. Another option is to choose two shades – one for the side walls, another for the back wall and ceiling ," indicates Carina Korman. The highlight of the back wall is capable of causing a visual impact, while the different color on the ceiling gives the impression that the ceiling height is higher . Patterns and textures can also be explored without fear, whether with a different covering or with wallpaper . Wallpaper is easy to apply and can be combined with other decorative items, such as paintings. Three-dimensional coverings, on the other hand, play with the effect of light and shadow and encourage curiosity when touched, says Ieda Korman.
