It took two years of searching for the perfect apartment until the couple found this
300 m² property with double height ceilings in Lagoa (RJ), which was the ideal space to build their dream home for the family. The view of Christ the Redeemer was the starting point for the interior design project by architect
Ana Cano , who brought nature into the home.

The
social area has been given a layout that enhances the spaciousness of the space , allowing the space to be used for entertaining. The color palette was chosen to balance with the external nature, keeping the environment
clean .

A round table was positioned near the window so that breakfast could be enjoyed with the stunning view. The double-height ceiling also allowed for the creation of a mezzanine, where the office was installed.

“For the furniture, we played with subtle
colors :
a gray sofa to accommodate the caramel, green and rosé leather cushions. The armchairs were chosen in a
dark green tone and, to add a touch of elegance, we dared to use a
light pink linen on the chaise,” says Ana. “To complete the look, I created a highlight on the wall with a
large round mirror, which reflects the surrounding mountains ,” she adds.
The
bathroom draws attention due to its color: a
dark blue on the walls and the LED that surrounds the mirror.

In the
kitchen , the custom carpentry brings elegance to the space, which also features a
turquoise blue panel and red chairs .

In the
children's room , the
clean style was maintained, without giving up the colors that bring life and joy to the environment. The wallpaper plays this role and was chosen by consensus by the children. The double-height ceiling was also used in this room to create a mezzanine, separating the sleeping area, which has a bunk bed, and the playroom, which has a wooden spiral staircase.
