From the canvas to the walls. The bold colors that define the works created by great names in the arts such as Luiz Áquila , Gonçalo Ivo , Rubens Gerchman and Eduardo Sued have graced the walls of this spacious apartment on Avenida Atlântica, in Rio de Janeiro. The property, renovated by architect Chicô Gouvêa for a mature woman who lives alone, has been given a fun ambiance with pieces of different styles.

Part of the walls also received a cumaru panel , which brings a more welcoming feel to the space. On the floor, the choice took into account the proximity of the sea: porcelain tiles imitating cement, which in addition to being ideal for a property on the coast, gives a casual air.
The dining room was furnished with cumaru and ipê wood furniture designed by Chicô, as well as a special space for another work by Luiz Áquila – also featured on the concrete wall in the property's hall. A highlight was the bookcase created to house the resident's collection of art books and objects.
Chicô Gouvêa is one of the 57 professionals participating in CASACOR Rio , which this year will take place from March 2nd to April 25th, in an iconic mansion located in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood. There will be 38 rooms including patios, leisure spaces and indoor environments that can be seen live or right here on the website in a digital guide with 3D tours and videos. Tickets here .
