Purchased by a young doctor, this apartment in
Fortaleza (CE) was already a few decades old and needed updating. When architect
Romário Rodrigues – from the
CASACOR SP 2024 cast – came on the scene, the request was to transform the
100 m² into a functional, integrated and comfortable home.
Some of the apartment's interior walls were removed to create
integrated spaces , with a simple and functional layout. To achieve this, two
bedrooms from the original floor plan were dismantled and incorporated into the
living room , and the balcony was integrated into the
kitchen . With the new layout, the furniture arrangement became more organic, with loose pieces arranged in a functional way.
Sliding doors can also be used to isolate the kitchen if necessary . Here, the room has
dark-toned cladding and joinery. The rest of the living area follows suit, with touches of wood and
yellow and blue .
In the
living room , the
floor was laid in a
chevron pattern and one of the dining room walls received a
muxarabi panel , which creates texture and charm behind the sideboard.
The dark color palette continues in the private area: the closet was designed with black frames and the smart joinery was finished with textured wood in the same color. The leather headboard extends across the entire bed.
