The pool at the iconic Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro has become even more colorful and glamorous! Designed by Rio de Janeiro architect Ivan Rezende – who redesigned the Copacabana Palace Theater in 2021 – the new pool area combined the nostalgia of the past with a contemporary touch , through exclusively designed wooden umbrellas with striped fabric, tropical print lining and fringe trimmings, custom-made sun loungers and embroidered cushions in shades of green and orange.

The new styling is part of the centennial celebrations and aims to enhance the experience offered to guests, integrating the look with the Copacabana beachfront. The elements were carefully designed to highlight the beauty of the earthy tones of the sand and the crystal clear waters, creating a warm and welcoming environment.

The project also includes a detailed study of specific fabrics to ensure comfort and sophistication, choosing materials that withstand the tropical climate .

The restyling ” presents a nostalgic touch, rescued from the hotel’s old collections, paying homage to the birthday boy’s history . At the same time, the structure of the parasols has a more rounded and modern shape, with a wooden structure to ensure durability.
