Vision is far from being the only sense awakened in the environments of CASACOR São Paulo 2023 : aromas perfume the projects, just as the textures of furniture and accessories awaken the sense of touch and – why not? – the flavors of restaurants and cafes stimulate the palate. But hearing is also part of the design, even in a subtle way, as the soundtrack can become a powerful tool for creating a sensory experience that complements the architecture. Check out some playlists below that rock the atmosphere of 2023.

music is present in Casa Kraftizen Cosentino , space designed by SUITE Arquitetos , by partners Carolina Mauro, Daniela Frugiuele and Filipe Troncon. The project, which explores the relationship with nature and the permission to be natural while accepting the marks of time, is packed with songs that reflect on the passage of time and its countless facets in the voices of personalities such as Nana Caymmi , with “Resposta do Tempo ”, Gal Costa with “Já Era Tempo ”, Elza Soares and “ O Tempo não Para ”, Emílio Santigo with “ Tempo Feliz ”, among others. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7Ifzej5PKgSvs6T3EBWqfH?si=f755b921d14a410d&nd=1

"The name of the environment – Morada do Samba – already shows this strong connection with music, which is something intrinsic to me. I've had this connection since I was a child. And samba has always moved me a lot. To create this playlist, I had the help of the DJ Jean Mafra , who curated a huge list of songs that I sent to him, if Pelo Telephone , and it was recorded by Martinho da Vila, and is on our track", explains Marcelo Salum . https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7bwb5wSUGYpkN0JU9J7NfW

With a minimalist and elegant concept, Loft (IN)Terno , an environment designed by architect Ticiane Lima , already has music as one of its creative references. Based on tenderness, affection and delicacy, which allow you to experience various forms of emotions and feelings, the space is also inspired by the song “ Silencia ” by Brazilian singer and instrumentalist Ceumar Coelho . The playlist chosen by the architect features renowned songs from Brazilian music such as “ Águas de Março ”, by Tom Jobim , “ Since o samba é samba ”, by Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil , “ Gente Humilde ”, by Chico Buarque , " Chega de Saudade ”, by João Gilberto, among others. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/28OMj5WJmaFs83QqaggsIY?si=8669e272710a401b&nd=1

(Renato Navarro/CASACOR)

"The musical set is a fundamental part of the experience in our space. The songs were chosen thinking about a musical selection heard by the character we created. They are contemporary and predominantly French songs, with a sexy and engaging feel. The song that opens the set is an ode to the space theme: La Vie em Rose sung by Grace Jones ", says Ricardo Abreu , who signs Casa Coral . https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3ZkzRW6lL1KYTvSjcykls5?si=o4rPeEVGQFOQBS2LITFB0w

"In our environment, we try to convey a light and colorful Carioca air. And our playlist also has this function. We even thought of two versions: one for the day and another for night. The first brings a lighter and calmer selection , while the night is more lively . Regardless of the moment, they are composed of bossa nova (very typical of Rio de Janeiro), jazz , timeless songs and others more current than Abraça ", say the professionals at Migs Arquitetura .
