Recently retired from the soccer field, player André Felipe – also known as
André Balada – is one of those who loves to have his house full of friends on the weekends. And this passion, of course, is reflected in his house in Barra (RJ): the 750 m² property has a huge leisure area with a swimming pool, sauna, barbecue area and even a spa, for moments of
relaxation . The architecture is by
Fabiano Raizaki , with interior design by
Tom Castro , from the
CASACOR Rio cast.
"The house is huge and the spaces are spacious enough to welcome all his friends. But he wanted a clean design. So, I created a
clean project with elements that warm up and bring the human scale ," explains Tom.
The proposal is clear throughout the internal social area, which brings together
an imposing living room with a 7.5 m ceiling height, a dining room with a table for 12 people and a home theater . There, soft tones, such as white and very light gray, prevail.
The leather sofas and wooden panels create a cozy atmosphere. Natural elements such as stone and straw and light fabrics such as linen complete the décor, which also features designer furniture such as the coffee table by
Maria Cândida Machado and pieces by
Gustavo Bittencourt. The TV, very important for those who like to gather with friends to watch football, has a whole room just for it. All lined with natural oak, the space is very cozy and can be integrated into the main room or not, since it has folding doors that sometimes reveal and sometimes hide the space.
The division between the internal and external areas is made by
a pivoting door in matte black metalwork, also designed by Tom, which leads to a first living area, with a room and another table with 12 seats.
But when the house isn't full of people, André can be found in the home's personal gym or in
his spacious 90 m² suite . The space has few pieces of furniture, but a very cozy
décor and, of course,
a large 45 m² closet that houses his huge collection of sneakers.
