With a homely feel, the office balances well-being and professionalism

Beatriz Quinelato faced a real challenge when designing the Tauari office. The architect's proposal was to bring comfort to the place, to increase well-being and productivity among employees, but how to do this without losing sight of the professional atmosphere? An XP Investimentos franchise, the office had to be a project that would impress clients. Initially, the partners asked Beatriz, an architect who will participate in CASACOR São Paulo in 2020, to design a sober style, like a more traditional commercial office.

Beatriz designed one of the meeting rooms to look like a living room, with comfortable armchairs and a sofa. The room, which also follows a gray and green palette, encourages employees to spend more time in the workplace, increasing people’s interaction with the spaces. “In the larger meeting room, with tables and chairs, I really wanted to put dining table-style chairs,” says the architect. Given the partners’ refusal, Beatriz tried to make the decor less traditional and “looking dated” by rethinking the chairs and lighting in the room. [newsletter]
