Located in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, the space was designed to be as fresh as possible . The architects adopted a neutral base with light and sophisticated fabrics, and some warmer color accents bring harmony and youthfulness to the project.

One of the choices made by the residents (which helped to reduce the cost of the renovation) was to keep the existing flooring , as this, in addition to matching the look proposed by Mentô, also provides the practicality that the clients want to make the house a suitable place for meeting up with friends.
In the living room, a pool table steals the show and doesn't go unnoticed: it was redesigned to have lighter, more modern colors . The other furniture was all handpicked – both to bring a touch of design and to not leave out the much-needed comfort.

The suite and guest room have a more "beachy" feel, reminiscent of the couple's hobbies and also the beaches of Rio. The use of colors and coverings was essential to convey this atmosphere: the shades of blue contrasting with the white and wood and, in the case of the suite, the straw on the headboard .
