Bárbara Jalles designed a
co-living space in 2019, a space composed of a kitchen and a living room. The idea is to create a practical space like a metropolis, which efficiently meets different demands.

The concept of co-living emerged from a housing trend that has been on the rise for some years, consisting of a layout of small studios with shared services and areas. In this way, the exchange of experiences is stimulated through shared living. Thus, Bárbara's space will consist of a central island, where meals will take place, and a living room at the other end – with a living room, providing meeting and conversations on sofas and armchairs.

Wood was the material chosen to frame the space. Both on the floor and on the walls, the carpentry was designed to enhance the functional aspect of the space, bringing with it refinement and comfort. The tones were also designed to harmonize and integrate the co-living space, making the visitor feel part of a whole.
