Inherited from her grandmother, this apartment in Leblon (RJ) needed modernization to suit the lifestyle of its resident, a young lawyer who lives alone. To achieve this, interior designer

CASACOR Rio ) had to oversee several changes during the renovation. "The idea was to give the property a light and spacious feel," she says.
Several structural interventions were necessary to completely transform each room. The final
layout consisted of a suite, guest
bedroom , home office, guest
bathroom , living room and integrated
kitchen , a large laundry room and service bathroom.
"We took the old air out of the apartment and created a young and feminine environment for the young professional to start her adult life.
The home office is in the hallway , taking over a part of what used to be the service room," explains Claudia.
In the living room, in addition to the sofa, the designer created a large carpentry bench for seating and decoration.
A white lacquered bookcase with a painted glass base serves both the living room and the kitchen. And a large white painted glass window lines part of a wall, near the bar/cafe area, and is used to write notes and notices.
