Maai Integrated Architecture - Living Cycle. The power of new beginnings and the idea of continuous transformation led architects Arnaldo Pinho, Monica Pinto, and Isabel Veiga to envision the coexistence of past, present, and future through sustainability. This thought is solidified in this 56 m² room and bar, which celebrates the heritage building by restoring the original wooden floor and entrance door, as well as utilizing natural ventilation and vegetation to ensure thermal comfort. Circular economy appears in the reuse of the Brazilian stone yellow bamboo, applied in the lush planter and the bar counter.

Marble is one of the most valued coverings in architecture due to its sophistication, variety of options, and high durability. In turn, the terracotta color is consolidating itself as a strong decoration trend by bringing a sense of warmth to the projects. Together, they give rise to one of the protagonists of CASACOR SP 2025: terracotta marble! The material appears in countertops, walls, and decorative pieces in various projects of the 38th edition of the leading architecture exhibition in the Americas, making its presence known from kitchens to bathrooms and living rooms. Below are some projects that used terracotta marble for you to be inspired by!

1. Loft Alvará – Paula Nader

The 72 m² loft connects six projects with a delicate atmosphere, reinforced by textures on the walls, light fabrics, and natural materials. One of the most eye-catching details is the pink marble used above the kitchen countertop. The tone combines with the use of nude and pink in the cabinets, on the table, and in small decorative objects.

2. Casa das Águas – Tetriz Arquitetura

The concept bathroom emphasizes natural materials, organic lines, and textures that "invite touch." In this context, terracotta marble is used both in the sink and in the console near the window. The colors and irregular patterns of the material contribute to the concept of fluidity and tranquility of the project.

3. Eternum Vitae – La Rous Studio

The living room project proposes to recover ancestry through traces left in nature, such as fossils, textures, flowers, and minerals. Terracotta marble appears in a large shelf that goes from floor to ceiling, filled with pots, books, and other decorative items that balance the rustic aspect of the material. It is a blend of mid-century references with contemporary trends.

4. Studio Oniria – Rodolfo Consoli

Composed of a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, the studio is marked by the use of red color in various shades, textures, and patterns. Among them is the use of terracotta marble with marked veining in countertops, panels, porticos, baseboards, and even in details on the original wooden floor.

5. Ciclo Vivo – MAAI Arquitetura

Maai Arquitetura Integrada - Ciclo Vivo. Project of CASACOR São Paulo 2025.The architects envision coexistence between past, present, and future based on sustainability. One of the ways they found to meet this proposal was through the reuse of Brazilian yellow bamboo stone, applied in the bar countertop and in the dining room/bar planter.

6. Galeria Botânica – Rafael Granero Arquitetura

Finally, terracotta marble appears in the supports that hold products at the Botanic Gallery – a transition area between shops and one of the restaurants of CASACOR SP. The material contrasts with the metallic cabinets and the mirrored ceiling, bringing balance and connection to the primitive senses in the project.SERVIÇO CASACOR SP 2025
