Living and dining rooms, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The loft designed by architect and designer Leo Romano from Goiás, back at CASACOR São Paulo , has all the necessary spaces for living. However, its layout is unconventional and invites visitors to get out of the ordinary. “The name Magic Walls was a poetic and dreamlike way of talking about the project. It was built with its own autonomous architecture, alluding to fantasy, stacking, simple designs from our minds and different ways of living,” he says. Leo Roman. In his fourth appearance at CASACOR São Paulo , Leo Romano steals the show once again. The 100 m² loft follows the concept of integrated spaces and was completely covered in metal cladding.

Surprise factor

MDF boxes were painted and stacked, reorganizing the space. They act as small rooms, achieving a welcome intimacy in a large space. And this vertical arrangement goes beyond a visual resource - in fact it allowed to increase the built area and guaranteed more space. The dark atmosphere, without being gloomy, is balanced to create the feeling of being in a dreamlike environment. To achieve this result, Leo worked with spot lighting to explore the beauty of the light, focusing on specific objects and corners.

imaginary world

Among the decorative elements are photographs with cinematic and circus scenes, which are superimposed by ceramic pieces that imitate arms and legs. The idea is to expand the characteristics of the imaginary world.
