CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2024 presents an innovation that promises to delight animal lovers: the first completely
pet-friendly environment at the show! Designed by architect
Matheus Xavier , the
Despertar Suite has 77 m² and combines sophisticated design with functionality, creating a cozy resting place for both felines and their guardians.
Inspired by his own experiences with pets, Xavier’s design reflects a growing trend in contemporary architecture:
the inclusion of pets in the design of spaces . The space was carefully designed to meet the needs of dogs and cats, providing
resting areas, play areas and even a dedicated bathroom . Every detail was designed to promote the well-being of animals, ensuring that they can explore, rest and have fun in a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.
The space has a
soft and welcoming color palette , composed mainly of neutral tones such as beige, white and touches of light pink. The wallpaper with illustrations of trees in soft shades of green reinforces the natural and serene aspect of the space, reminiscent of a garden or an outdoor environment.
The highlight of this suite's pet area is the
bathroom designed especially for animals , with a bathing area adapted for small and medium-sized pets, combining comfort and practicality. Cats have a space reserved for their needs, while dogs get a
fun touch with a grass sidewalk and a charming fire hydrant, which adds even more playfulness to the environment.
Matheus Xavier demonstrates great sensitivity and skill when designing a master bedroom with an annex dedicated to pets, reflecting a trend that is increasingly present in homes: that of animals as members of the family . Thinking about pets when designing a home is a gesture of care and affection, and Matheus does this without sacrificing aesthetics, establishing himself as a landmark in CASACOR 's exhibitions.
