The Garden Loft - Rose Campos Martorano, Allan Chierighini and Fábio Silva. With a cosmopolitan look and a gourmet kitchen open to the lounge, the space is a perfect place to host friends in a cozy atmosphere. Without any partitions, the outdoor spaces interact, such as the hot tub area, the deck and the various nooks and crannies created with the landscaping. Also note the green roof.

Casa Areia - Linda Martins, Cris Araújo and Rodrigo Pires. The cafe pays homage to Florianópolis, its beaches and the Joaquina Dunes. From this inspiration came the sand tones that add freshness, while the thatched roof reinforces the coastal feel. Details in cinnamon tones remind us of the island's sunset. The blue screens revere the lagoons and the sea.

Jardim Estar - Ana Trevisan. The space connects the external buildings to the main house. The challenge of working with the unevenness of the site was met with a wide staircase, responsible for circulation. Plants of different sizes explore the topography, in the project inspired by gardens of permanence and experimentation.

Disconnect to reconnect. It seems like a contradiction, but CASACOR Santa Catarina/Florianópolis 2018 shows the value of aligning body and soul to restore balance, in the 25 environments inspired by theA Casa Viva concept. Therefore, the setting for this edition could not be better: a house on the Caminho dos Açores road, in the irresistible Santo Antônio neighborhood of Lisbon. The place is part of the capital of Santa Catarina, but at the same time it configures its own universe full of tranquility, colors and affectionate memories. Not all trends are what you see. It would be another contradiction, but it also makes perfect sense when you think about the experiences this edition offers. More integrated and multifunctional spaces bring people together. They also intentionally erase the boundaries between interior and exterior, in a permanent dialogue between ambiance, design and landscaping. Nature guides the choice of materials, such as stones with their mineral textures, wood, ropes. And it also inspires the color palettes that refer to the sea and the beach – omnipresent on the Island –, in addition to the green and earthy colors, the sweetness of rosé and the freshness of mint and turquoise. There is space for preserved elements of architecture and for the new, among other opposites that complement each other. CASACOR SERVICE SANTA CATARINA FLORIANOPOLIS 2018 WHEN?
